Original Japanese print in colors on tan paper after Ando Hiroshige. Titled The First Cuckoo of the Year over Tsukudajima Island, the image shows a cuckoo bird flying across the sky over a fishing village. This print was created in the xxxx-30's after an original 19th century print by Ando Hiroshige. The publishers stamp (Adachi) is on the back. Frame Size: 18 inches H x 22 inches W (45.7 cm H x 55.9 cm W). This print is in excellent condition. It is framed in a bamboo style frame and double-matted in creme and rust acid-free matting.
