Our Seagrass Armchair brings the look of stated casual
elegance to any space... both for indoor or outdoor use
under covered patio.
The water hyacinth seagrass is handwoven in a large chunky
knit weave and is sealed and protected from moisture with 2
coats of clear lacquer finish. Unlike some seagrass, the V or
knit weave is smooth to the touch, and gentle on one's arms.
The deck of the chair is finished with fabric, and has 2" woven straps under the fabric for added comfort. The slip covers are zippered and can be laundered in a
delicate, cold water cycle, and line dried. The fabric on the
chairs is made of 100% off white cotton twill, waterproof, and
soil guarded. The fabric feels soft yet it is treated with an
eco-friendly solution. One can literally place these cushion
covers under the faucet and the water will roll off like mercury.
All of our furniture is certified as 90% organic by the
