As the Electrical Maintenance Reliability Engineer you?ll join a close-knit maintenance department and provide various electrical engineering support throughout a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. In this role, you?ll utilize your sound engineering principles in order to determine and direct necessary actions needed to maintain and improve mill equipment and facility reliability. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Provide engineering support to maintain and improve equipment reliability
? Evaluate worn or broken equipment, anticipate needs and recommend changes that should be made to avoid future maintenance problems
? Responsible for the effectiveness of facility's Preventive and Predictive Maintenance systems
? Write and manage major capital and expense repair, revision and improvement projects
? Apply knowledge in methods and processes to prevent or reduce the likelihood or frequency of failures in a system
? Lead troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis and devises corrective action to improve reliability
? Use reliability data and analysis tools to prioritize equipment issues
? Review equipment specifications and designs to ensure equipment can meet reliability objectives
? Support machine shutdown planning, execution, start-up and follow-up process
? Analyze spare parts requirements and coordinates action necessary to secure needed parts
? Review maintenance budgets
? Investigate procedures, conditions and equipment that appears unsafe and develops or designs safer alternatives
? Work closely with key leaders to ensure all mill goals and objectives are met
? Additional duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
? Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
? Thorough knowledge of maintenance work, electrical procedures, electrical engineering principles and equipment such as electric drives, electronic controls, PLC's, motors and power distribution
? Excellent understanding of tools and equipment of all trades
? 5+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance role desired
