Glass Production-Warehouse Laborer in Appleton, Wisconsin For Sale

Position summary:
This position works in our glass production and warehouse facility located in Neenah, WI. This position works where needed moving and storing materials, pulling and prepping customer orders for delivery in the warehouse and/or cutting, tempering and handling glass in accordance with customer orders in production. This role requires attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
Essential Duties and responsibilities:
Warehouse:
Builds wooden crates for shipping glass.
Load and unload product safely using forklift and pallet jacks.
Puts away products and equipment in an organized manner.
Pick glass orders utilizing packing lists and receipts
Inspect all products at every stage of assembly and delivery preparation.
Safe use of power tools including; table saw, nail gun, glue gun, etc.
Perform physical inventory daily and as needed.
Perform glass deliveries as needed using Omni van or box truck.
Production:
Pre-stage raw material (glass) according to work orders and place finished product in appropriate staging areas in accordance with established glass handling guidelines.
Set up, operate and perform basic maintenance on all machines (cutter) as working on them.
Responsible for operation of cutting, edging/seaming machines. Must produce a finished product within standard tolerance.
Responsible for maintaining work area, inventory control, quality control in relation to the product being assembled, and meeting production needs set by management.
General housekeeping to include vehicles, warehouse and office spaces to maintain a safe working environment.
All other duties as assigned

High School Diploma or equivalent - Required
1 year of manufacturing/production experience Preferred
1 year of CNC operation experience Preferred
Valid Driver's License-Required
Experience with hand and power tools - Preferred
Ability to read and comprehend instructions Required

Ability to problem solve Required
Attention to detail Required
Ability to work professionally with others - Required

Occasionally lift and/or move more than 75-100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
