Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI currently has an opening for a Full Time Cook! This benefit eligible position is scheduled to work days, evenings and a weekend/holiday rotation. The Cook is responsible for the preparation of all hot foods for patients, cafeteria, and catering in accordance with health department standards. The Cook must also assist with inventory, ordering, menu writing, and recipe standardization. Responsible for the sanitation of their area of the kitchen and of their equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepares all hot foods according to standardized recipes. Ensures all food is prepared in a sanitized and safe environment. Completes production records as needed. Serves food as needed. Fiscally responsible for use of our foods. Maintains proper use of equipment and kitchen area. Ensures proper cleaning of pots and pans. Keeps Communication flowing between the kitchen and the Supervisor about repairs, food substitutions, menu changes, etc. Minimum Education Required : High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum Related Years of Experience ( per minimum education ) Required: Two years of quantity food preparation is required.
