St. Elizabeth Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to become the Manager of Patient Care Services for Fremont 3 Patient Care Unit. The new state-of-the art Fremont Tower opened in January and consists of 3 patient care units, each floor containing 30 beds. The Manager of Patient Care Services will oversee Fremont 3, which is a 30-bed medical/surgical/intermediate-care unit. We are looking for an individual who can lead Fremont 3 in accordance with our mission, vision, and values. St. Elizabeth Hospital is a 352-bed facility and is the second largest Ministry Health Care hospital providing tertiary care services to multiple communities in Northeastern Wisconsin. Summary and Scope: Under the guidance of the Director of Patient Care Services, this position assumes 24-hour accountability and responsibility for the operation of the Fremont 3 Patient Care Unit. The manager is administratively responsible for the coordination, direction, implementation, evaluation and management of human and other resources necessary to accomplish the goals of the unit or function. In collaboration with clinical and physician leadership, the manager develops and recommends standards of practice and standards of care necessary to meet the goals of the unit and to function in a quality, cost-effective and efficient manner. The manager selects, supervises, develops, evaluates and is otherwise responsible for the human resources necessary to achieve the goals of the unit. The major responsibilities of this position will focus on daily operations, employee relations, financial management, training, education, operational analysis and quality improvement. Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree required, Masters or higher degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
