Title: Staff Nurse, Float Pool, St. Elizabeth Hospital - Evening Shift Location: WI-Appleton The Float Pool at St. Elizabeth Hospital is looking for an experienced Staff Nurse to join their Float Pool. This is a full-time evening shift position scheduled to work 36 hours a week. This position is required to work every third weekend. Job Description: The registered nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process and established standards to provide patient centered care. Collaborates with other professionals and members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Coordinates the delivery of patient care in an efficient cost effective manner. Assumes responsibility for patient education. Job Requirements: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. Hold a license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin. CPR certification required within 90 days of hire. Recent training and/or experience in floor nursing (or comparable clinical setting) for a minimum of one year is preferred. Basic computer literacy. Successful completion of ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) program required within 2 years of employment. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) certification within twelve months of employment.
