Purpose The Director of Accounting is responsible for overseeing and administering the Company’s general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, tax compliance, external audits, GAAP compliance, fixed assets and risk management. As a key member of the Company’s management team, the Director of Accounting must demonstrate TIDI Products, LLC’s values, be an agent of change, and be committed to a customer focus value discipline. Responsibilities Support the CFO in mergers and acquisitions including due diligence work, purchase accounting and integration. Manage the tax and risk management functions of the enterprise. Manage the annual external audit and tax compliance activities. Coordinate work with our independent CPA firm. Manage accounting department personnel including cost accountant and A/P clerk. Develop and manage policies, procedures and internal control measures to safeguard assets and prevent fraud Support the Finance department during the annual budgeting process. Actively participate in TIDI Product’s commitment to continuous improvement in all areas of the operation Actively supports TIDI Products, LLC Mission, Vision, Value, Value Discipline and Behaviors; Collaborate effectively across the company and actions are consistent with Behavior Expectations. Supervisory Responsibility This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5 pm Travel This position requires up to 25% travel. Some of the travel may be international.
