Job Summary: The Business Information (BI) Analyst will be expected to meet with customers to not only fully understand their business needs, but to make recommendations that will facilitate successful delivery of information for decision-making. ?Success in this position results in change relative to how our customers do their jobs. ?The BI Analyst must understand the customer's business processes, supporting data and impact the implemented solution will have on their organization.? You will need to have enough technical savvy to translate the customer's business requirements into BI solutions. Develops, validates, tests and promotes requested solutions, and enhancements, to satisfy business information needs. Navitus Analytics has moved beyond data retrieval and requires personnel with skills to analyze complex situations that require unique information to enable sound business decision-making. The BI Analyst will work closely with the business community to understand the questions that they are trying to answer and the actions they need to take. As such, this position will need to support and enhance existing information delivery tools as well as become an "expert" user in new technologies. This position leverages knowledge and experience of the Navitus PBM business model to complete projects of considerable complexity, risk, size, and visibility. Responsibilities include the following.? Other related duties may be assigned.? * Help identify, evaluate and implement new data-driven strategies and processes for the organization. You will be tasked with developing the necessary tools and reports that lend valuable insights that capitalize on a combination of internal and external data. One measure of success is your ability to deliver solutions to all areas of the organization. * Recommend enhancements to existing systems in accordance to business needs by creating ad hoc and standard reports as well as new information delivery technologies. * Transform data into information that can be proactively used to improve business. * Participate in ongoing data validation to ensure data integrity and reliability. * Facilitate requirements gathering, recommend alternative solutions, develop concepts and demos. Continually improve and expand the BI value to business users to meet or exceed expectations * Trains users on how to extract the information that they need from the BI tools. * Be a point of contact for business users providing both tool support and data expertise. ? * Provide support to power users who develop reports on behalf of their departmental teammates * Develops and provides insights into streamlining Navitus analytics processes. Research, define and deploy improvement opportunities. * Leverage Navitus PBM business model knowledge to increase overall Analytics team understanding and performance.
