Join the CSM Team! Linux Application Product Specialist Crytycal Services Management is seeking an accomplished, driven and qualified individual to join our dedicated operations team. We are a provider of voice and data monitoring solutions for the Telephony and Managed Services arena. To provide this service, we utilize custom software applications and tools and more importantly - high quality personnel. This is a challenging position within the IT/IS/Network Management area having great depth and breadth of responsibilities. In addition, this position is situated in both internal and external support areas. An ability to effectively communicate with developers and customers professionally is essential. Responsibilities include: Primary Product Management Role Linux Application Management and Design Linux OS testing and scripting Perform Customer Network Assessments and Reviews Review and Troubleshoot Customer Implementations Review of network utilization reports for errors and allocation of resources Web training session on Network Management System use or setup QA or Beta testing monitoring and/or management software loads Requirements: Linux Experience - Ubuntu or Debian preferred, Certification a plus Java Exposure - installation and troubleshooting Knowledge of Database Management Concepts Scripting experience, Python preferred Network Knowledge - VoIP, routing and firewall technologies, packet capture/analysis/tracking Network Protocols - IP, SNMP, and utilization metrics Ability to grasp and apply technical concepts relative to our custom application and Linux Ability to work in a team environment Knowledge of common office related software such as MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, etc. Education: Associate Degree or equivalent experience with Linux and Data Networking www.crytycal.com
